| A715 striker power cot is not unloading correctly and causing the cot to lock up half way out of the unit. When you hit the red release button, the cot is supposed to automatically raise to its normal unloading position. It isn't doing this so you will need to hold the track in place with your hand while activating the cot release button and gently pull the cot out a few inches. This will allow the cot to automatically raise and function as normal. Please make sure this is passed on to the next crew at shift change to ensure they are aware of the issue and to everyone else to make sure they are aware of how to unload the cot until we can have it repaired. The Ambulance will need to go to CMF on Monday morning to have the power cot system repaired. | |
