| CBS (complete building services) came out to repair water heater. The heat exchanger was cleaned out and a valve was closed that was left open incorrectly. This repair man said the valve that was open allowed cold water to circulate back into the hot water tank. He advised not to jump/bypass the system if the system did not get hot again. This is too dangerous. He showed me how to reset the system hitting a small green button. I can show each shift how. This will be the safer way to do this. He said a part was still required. No eta on repair. So after all this explanation, we do have hotter water now. | |
