DGS has just finished additional work on the hot water heater. The tech advises that the mixing valve system is getting 140ish degree water to it and is currently putting out 112 degree water throughout the firehouse, which by code is sufficient for showers, etc. He has rebuilt all of the insides of the mixing valve system and is still unclear why it will not put our water hotter than that. He stated he will order a full replacement for the mixing valve system to replace what he worked on today. There is not ETA on the parts though. This will allow him more ability to adjust the system etc. | |
IF DEFECT, WAS A REPAIR REQUEST MADE? | NO |
