| While responding to a call, the unit downshifted to 4th gear (the gear indicator showed the number 4, and the squad slowed to 50 mph) and would not come out of it until I shifted the gear selector to neutral and back to drive. This happened again while driving back from the call. The on-board diagnostic screen had the "check engine" "Caution" lights lit, and showed the "Engine Comm Lost" message at the time of the events (these indicators have been showing intermittently all day). | |
