| Stryker has confirmed that there is no true way to repair/sanitize the Medic Unit cot mattress following the puncture/blood saturation. A full replacement mattress (XPS Knee Gatch Bolster Matrss6 500003130 $370.98) has been ordered by the BVFD. It may be opened and applied to the cot upon receipt, just please leave the verified packing slip in my mail box so we can finalized payment. Captain Cook had previously expressed some concerns from the career personnel that the electronic cot might be considered too heavy for regular use. If the general consensus is to discontinue use of the electronic cot on the Medic Unit, please let me know. We only wish to contribute to easing the burden on the busy crew members. | |
