| Engine coolant leak - 1 gallon added in morning, 2 gallons added in evening to address low coolant alarms. Found coolant leaking from 3/4" coolant line just past a 1/4 turn valve on the top of the officer's side of the motor. Coolant line determined to be a line to the cab heater, so the 1/4 turn valve is now in the off position. Hose clamp at the location of the leak was moderately tight, but was tightened further. Please note - one of the gallons of the premixed coolant added to the engine was green. The others were pink. There are no other pink gallons of coolant at the station. One additional gallon of green premixed coolant is being carried in the first full-sized compartment on the driver's side of the squad. | |
