Congratulations to EMT Toni-Ann Wiggan, our latest Emergency Medical Technician to earn Charge Status on Ambulance A715.
EMT Wiggan joined the BVFD in 2017 and has completed all of the required classes to reach this status, including:

- Hazardous Materials - First Responder Operations
- Protective Envelope & Foam
- NIMS IS100 Incident Command System
- NIMS IS700 National Incident Management System
- EEO/AA and the Law
- Cultural Diversity
- Blood Borne Pathogens
- Radio Operations
- MOSH Training
- MDC Operations
- eMEDS Patient Care Reporting
- Firehouse Statistical Reporting
EMT Wiggans then worked through the BVFD cognitive and practical examinations. The final training phase requires a candidate to demonstrate proficiency riding Aide under the evaluation of a trained/experienced Charge EMT. EMT Wiggan is to be commended on the investment of time and energy that now allows her to serve the Community as a Charge EMT!
