Promotion Announcement

All- 

Please congratulate now Master Firefighter Luis Ruiz-Flores on his advancement effective today. 

MFF Flores is to be commended for his significant efforts over the past year: 

• Studying for and completing the BVFD Promotional Exam
• Completion of the beta test of the BVFD Firefighter 3 taskbook
• Attaining driver status on Truck 715
• Starting evaluated driving calls on Rescue Squad 715 (last week)  
• Spending a considerable number of recent shifts riding as a unit officer with a qualified officer riding behind him to gain experience in that capacity
