Rear air suspension issue has recurred twice during Thursday overnight shift. On second occurrence, air system would not build more than ~80PSI, then built pressure slowly. Upon reaching ~110PSI, left rear suspension appeared to have topped out against the shock travel limit (sitting too high) and unit rode as if suspension was collapsed. Cycled air suspension dump multiple times and suspension returned to more normal level, but with left rear still approx. 1" higher than normal. Drove unit back to quarters and visually inspected suspension components including height sensors, no externally visible defects noted, although left rear air bag can be easily seen to be extended approx. 1/2" longer than right rear air bag. Will continue in service unless suspension gets stuck at upper limit again. Defect already submitted for this issue. | |
IF DEFECT, WAS A REPAIR REQUEST MADE? | YES |
