| Apologies for the lengthy pass on... Engine- E715B Transmission repeatedly got "stuck" in second and third gear and would not shift up or down. The engine was towed and a crimson (RE-21) was picked up and placed in service. The 4" supply beds, all 3" hose w/gated wye, ladders, hardsleeves, and low-level strainer are property of RE-21. All other equipment came off of E715B today. All the handlines from RE-21 were rolled and placed in pile by the door prop with their nozzles. Some equipment from the bravo engine that didn't fit or wasn't needed was placed in a pile behind the brush truck. Truck- Federal Q pedals are now working. Truck/Squad- There were some saw issues that had been written up and not passed on. As it stands right now, the truck and rescue squad are both down a K12 saw each. They are both at small tools being repaired and they are written up. All cutters edge saws are in service on both units with carbide tip chains. Several chains were placed OOS after an incident today and small tools was only able to give us carbide tip, not bullet chains. There is one spare carbide tip cutters edge chain in the saw box on the ladder truck. | |
