All,
Safety inspection was conducted this week. The following issues were brought up. All the items have been written up and/or being handled however we need to De-Clutter the Engine Bay and offices.
This means getting rid of items laying around that pose trip hazards or overall cluttering up the Firehouse. Lets start with ensuring clutter is removed in the Engine Bay during normal Saturday Heavy. Thank you
EMS closet. Top shelves need to be cleared for sprinkler heads to function.
Floor drain cover in the mechanical room is missing.
Leak in mechanical room.
General clutter in the engine bay and offices.
Wood pile on the Delta side of the firehouse.
Floor drain grates in the engine bay that are broken or missing.
Flammable material cabinet is cluttered and some material could probably be thrown away. Not stored on top.
The grinder in the shop does not have adequate safety shrouds. We need a new one.

| My mistake on the Cold Water Suits. The ones hanging up where the Ice Commanders and they have now been placed on the shelf per Chief Ryman. The suits given to us from the FEMA team are still on the Squad. The Rescue Squad took 7 Gallons of Coolant. It was displaying a Stop Engine and Check Engine Light before the Coolant was added. Both are gone now. The lean from the Air leak seems to be getting worse. The Truck had the same issue as the Rescue Squad and Coolant was added and the problem seems fixed.
