| | Rob "Buddy, from the SCBA Shop" Rodgers called to give an updated operating procedure for the new SCBA Compressor: Due to the "AUTO" mode it is currently in, he requests that we press the green "START" button when filling cylinders, and then press the red "STOP" button when finished filling cylinders, even if the compressor has stopped running already. This will prevent the compressor from running unnecessarily in the event of a slow leak and prolong the life span of the shiny new compressor. They are working on a programming update to set the "AUTO" mode to function in a manner that they want, however it will take some time for them to do so. Until that change is made, please operate the compressor as noted above. |
